Kingdom Currency: 10 Scriptures to Brighten Your Financial IQ

Walking in the Kingdom’s Purpose of Wealth

In T.M.O.F.‘s first installment of Kingdom Currency, we are eager to present God’s perspective on financial prosperity.  T.M.O.F. believes in the wealth and prosperity for every believer who dares to believe God’s word.  The scriptures says that though Jesus was rich, He, for our sakes, became poor so that we might become rich (2 Corinthians 8:9).

Below are 10 scriptures to expand your understanding of this great exchange Christ gave to us.  Read them.  Believe them.  Meditate them. Confess them.  Receive them.  They are yours, if you only believe.  [All scriptures are in the Amplified translation.]

1.  2 Chronicles 1:12

Wisdom and knowledge are granted you. And I will give you riches, possessions, honor, and glory, such as none of the kings had before you, and none after you shall have their equal.

2.  2 Chronicles 31:21

And every work that he began in the service of the house of God, in keeping with the law and the commandments to seek his God [inquiring of and yearning for Him], he did with all his heart, and he prospered.

3.  Deuteronomy 28:1-2

[1]IF YOU will listen diligently to the voice of the Lord your God, being watchful to do all His commandments which I command you this day, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.[2]And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you if you heed the voice of the Lord your God.

4.  Deuteronomy 29:9

Therefore keep the words of this covenant and do them, that you may deal wisely and prosper in all that you do.

5.  Deuteronomy 8:17-18

[17]And beware lest you say in your [mind and] heart, My power and the might of my hand have gotten me this wealth.[18]But you shall [earnestly] remember the Lord your God, for it is He Who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

6.  Ephesians 3:20

Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]–

7.  Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

8.  Joshua 1:8

This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.

9.  Proverbs 13:22

A good man leaves an inheritance [of moral stability and goodness] to his children’s children, and the wealth of the sinner [finds its way eventually] into the hands of the righteous, for whom it was laid up.

10.  Psalm 35:27

Let those who favor my righteous cause and have pleasure in my uprightness shout for joy and be glad and say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, Who takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.

Jesse Duplantis Shares His Fit of Carnality

T.M.O.F. hopes you enjoy the very hilarious confession of Jesse Duplantis‘ fit of carnality.  Known for his wildly humorous style of preaching, Jesse holds no bars in this retelling of how God’s expectation for his people to walk in the spirit never wavers–even when busted pipes, creepy spiders, dead cats, and a disobedient wife pushes every carnal button.

(As part of his A Merry Heart Doeth Good Like a Medicine, Volume 2 DVD, Jesse Duplantis offers humorous and heart-touching sermon illustrations that promise to make you laugh again and again.  Pick up your copy at www.jdm.org.)

A Love Lesson: Cathy Duplantis Teaches Us to Behave

T.M.O.F. is excited to present a video from one of the Kingdom’s beloved preachers, Rev. Cathy Duplantis.  She is an anointed teacher of the Gospel who is dedicated to living by faith and inspiring others to do the same.  The wife of Evangelist, Jesse Duplantis, Rev. Duplantis has worked continually with her husband in the ministry since it began in 1978 serving as Administrator, Editor-in-Chief of Voice of the Covenant magazine and television co-host.

Let’s watch as Rev. Duplantis teaches us what love looks like and how it behaves.  You’ll be blessed!  (For more information about Jesse Duplantis Ministries, visit the website: www.jdm.org.)

Faith Boot Camp: Creflo Dollar Demands Evidence

T.M.O.F. presents an article from one of the world’s greatest teachers, Dr. Creflo Dollar.  He is the founder and senior pastor of World Changers Church International (WCCI) in College Park, Georgia, which serves nearly 30,000 members; World Changers Church-New York, which hosts over 6,000 worshippers each week; and a host of satellite churches.  Perhaps known best for his practical approach to the Bible, Dr. Dollar has encouraged thousands to pursue a personal relationship with God.  So grab your Bible with a pen and paper, and let’s gear up to receive the evidence of our faith.

Where’s Your Evidence?

By Creflo Dollar

In a court of law, evidence can mean the difference between prison and freedom, life and death. In the spirit realm, faith is the evidence that guarantees the promises of God. It is the force that connects you to prosperity, which includes healing, deliverance, emotional wellness, and overall success. The word faith is often used interchangeably with hope, but they are two different sides of the same coin. Some people may sincerely believe and hope God will help them, but nothing happens without faith.

The difference between faith and hope is that faith is now; hope is always looking to the future for fulfillment. Hope says, “God is going to do it,” while faith says, “God has already done it.” Faith is in the present tense. It is the substance that fills hope, making what you hope for a reality.

The Word says, “… faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). Substance is “physical material from which something is made,” and evidence is “something that indicates,” or “an outward sign.” Faith is the evidence, or proof that something of substance is available to you.

There are a lot of Believers who have good intentions, yet they experience failure in their lives. Because they do not understand faith, they do not know how to operate in God’s system. This person will never get real results because of what he or she does not know! Every Believer should know that faith is the Word of God, and it only works with love as its foundation.

Imagine you need money for an expense, and you want God to “work a miracle” on your behalf. You can choose to cry, feel sorry for yourself and say, “I’m a good person. Why doesn’t God just help me?”, or you can choose to operate by faith, believing God has already provided for you. Since God is love, He desires to help, but without faith it is impossible to please him. Crying, begging, hoping, and praying will not provoke Him to get involved in your situation. Faith works by love; and self-pity, worry, and doubt are rooted in fear—the opposite of love. These negative emotions will short-circuit your faith and put the desired results on hold.

God’s way of doing things is founded on faith, so it is the only way we can expect to receive from Him. We must have confidence in His Word and refuse to doubt and waver in our stance. When we believe and act on what we know to be true, we are sure to experience the manifestation of our faith.

You may be thinking, I’ve been blessed in the past without knowing the Word of God. This is probably true, since God is merciful. But now that we know the truth, He expects us to operate according to faith.

God’s Word is full of promises to us. From healing to deliverance, everything we need to live a life of peace and prosperity is available to us. However, if we do not know what the Word says, we have no substance, no evidence, and no faith! You have the right to be healed, happy, wealthy, wise, and free from every type of oppression. Learn your rights and start presenting your evidence to God!

I want to encourage you to increase your time in the Word of God. Read, research, and endeavor to gain understanding from the Bible by using a dictionary, concordance, and any other resources you can find. Once you find a promise in the Word, it belongs to you, and you have a responsibility to go after it. You do not have to beg and plead, just present your evidence and believe God keeps His promises. Get started now!

Faith Boot Camp: Jerry Savelle’s Got Seed on His Mind

T.M.O.F. is happy to share a devotional from Dr. Jerry Savelle.  Since 1969, Dr. Savelle has been traveling the world teaching people how to win in life.  God has used him to impact people who are burned out on religion and who have backslidden in their walk with God, as well as Christians who have a need to hear the Word of God presented in terms applicable to their lives, dreams, and destinies.  Enjoy learning the principals of how to reap from being seed-minded.

Devotional
Topic: Being Seed-Minded
Author: Jerry Savelle
Verse(s): Galatians 6:7-9
Confession: “I am seed minded because You, Father, are seed minded. I’ll plant to the harvest I want to receive.”
Devotional:
God has declared, in the book of Genesis, that as long as the earth remains, seedtime and harvest will not cease (Genesis 8:22). The earth itself operates on this principle. Everything we do on thi s planet depends upon that one central rule. That’s how the earth is populated, by seedtime and harvest. Whatever the field of endeavor-finances, agriculture, industry, medicine, education, ministry-it all works on the same fundamental principle that what is sown (invested) is what is reaped (produced). That’s how we grow spiritually, by planting seeds. We give and it is given to us. We give love, and love comes back to us. We show ourselves to be friendly, and we reap friends. We give understanding to others, and we receive understanding. We listen to others, and in turn they listen to us. We give out the knowledge we have gained, and God increases that knowledge. That’s why I say that it is foolish and wrong for a person to say that he will start giving to God as soon as the Lord has made him rich. That is like a person expecting a fireplace to give off heat before he throws in any wood in it to burn. That’s going at life backwards.

We all know that to get water from a pump, we must first prime the pump. We must pour into life if we expect to get anything out of it. If you want to prosper in mind, body and spirit, then learn to sow generously into the lives of others. Whoever you are, whatever your desired harvest, you will reap just what you sow.

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not” (Galatians 6:7-9).

Notice the first part of verse seven; it warns us about being deceived. It is highly important that we not allow anybody to deceive us into thinking that we can reap (receive) anything that we have not first sowed (invested in faithfully and consistently). The Phillips translation of the next part of this verse says “a man’s harvest in life depends enti rely on that which he sows.” Verse nine counsels us not to become weary in our sowing, because if we keep it up long enough, we will reap.

Of course all this is based on the assumption that we are sowing good seed. Our harvest will be whatever we sow; therefore we must be careful about the kind of seed we plant. If we want health, we must sow seeds of health. If we want prosperity, we must sow seeds of prosperity. If we want love, we must sow seeds of love. Good crops are the result of good seed planted in good soil.

Copeland Celebrates the Kingdom in 2011 Southwest Believers Convention

Kenneth Copeland

Kenneth Copeland

What event could bring almost 10,000 people to America’s largest and hottest state during the mid-summer’s heat?  What about over 22,000 people from all 50 states and scores of countries registering for its livestream online?  It could only be the one and only:  Kenneth Copeland Ministries‘ Southwest Believers Convention.  For 31 years believers from around the world gather to immerse themselves under the non-stop stream of the word of faith preached by our generation’s greatest men and women of God.  Jesse, Jerry, CrefloKeith, and Kenneth & Gloria have become household names in the household of faith, and it’s no wonder why we all keep coming back for more and more.

Festivities started July 4th with enough excitement to light the grandest of fireworks.  Brother Copeland started with a strong word of faith while later Jesse jammed NOLA-style on the piano. Gloria and Jerry gave a life changing word.  The evening capped with Kenneth Copeland’s “faithworks” celebrating our nation’s independence singing the Star Spangled Banner.  Even James Robison, of Life Today, called in for the event encouraging people to take interest in the country during the upcoming elections. What a kick-off!  The next five days escalated higher and higher proving that the Kingdom of God is HERE and worth celebration.

Gloria Copeland

Gloria Copeland

Check out Creflo’s dynamic word on the Kingdom of God Tuesday evening.  Or Keith Moore’s two hour slack-jerking message Wednesday afternoon.  Jerry’s Thursday evening sermon reminds you that God is good and ready to do you good.  And who can forget Jesse’s HILARIOUS Friday afternoon message descibing his deliverance from anger.  Of course, Kenneth’s Saturday evening’s message “The Power of Have” will change your receiving forever.  But our favorite line of the convention comes from the event’s founding mother, Gloria Copeland, who summed up the convention with this thought, “If you can’t say something in faith, then shut up!”

You can relive the 2011 Southwest Believers Convention as often as you like.  It’s now available online at www.kcm.org.  Experience the amazing word of faith at your leisure at no cost.  Watch online or download the sessions.  However you watch or listen, you will be blessed!

A Mall of Faith Classic: E.W. Kenyon – What We are in Christ (3 of 3)

T.M.O.F. presents the last installment of E.W. Kenyon’s “What We are in Christ” series.  Powerful!  Learn who you are in Christ from one of faith’s pioneers.

We are His Righteousness

Of all the wealth that is known to the human heart, there is nothing that equals this:   that Jesus declares through the apostle Paul that we are His Righteousness.  We are His Righteousness. How precious we must be to Him!

He once became our righteousness.  He once declared us righteous by His resurrection from the dead.  Now He goes beyond the declaration and makes that a reality.  II Corinthians 5:21:  “Him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him.”  We have become the righteousness of God in Him.  I Corinthians 1:30:  “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who was made unto us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption.”

Note these three blessed facts:

  • He becomes our righteousness.  Romans 3:26
  • He is made righteous for us.  I Corinthians 1:30
  • We have become the righteousness of God in Him.  II Corinthians 5:21

Galatians 2:20:  “That life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith which is in the son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.”  He loved me.  He gave Himself up for me.  What love is revealed here!  He not only redeemed me and sanctified me, but now before heaven He says, “I am that man’s Redemption.  I am that man’s sanctification.”  Then I can hear His voice rise to notes of utter triumph when He shouts, “I am His Righteousness and His Wisdom.”  This is all His work.  It is not of man’s works lest he should say, “I had a share in that.”  Your repenting, crying, and weeping had naught to do with your righteousness or your redemption.  You stand complete in Him, in all the fullness of His great, matchless life.

Romans 8:33,34 is the climax of the revelation of our Redemption:  “Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect?”  You are God’s elect.  Jesus and the Father have elected you and now He says, “Who shall lay anything to the charge of my own son or my daughter?”  There is only one person of any standing before the Supreme Court who could lay anything to your charge.  That is Jesus, and He will not do it.  “Who is he that condemneth?  It is Christ that died, yea rather, that was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us?”  Can’t you see the wealth of your position?  Can’t you see the riches of the glory of your inheritance in Christ?  You are in Him.  All that He planned in Jesus is a heart reality now.

There is no condemnation for you.  There is no judgment for you.  There is no fear of death for you.  Why?  Because death is simply swinging the portals open for you to march in triumph into the presence of your Father.  I John 4:18 grips the heart: “There is no fear in love: but perfect love casteth out fear.”

In Christ we have received Eternal Life, the Nature of our Father.  That Nature is Love.  That Love is perfect.  Our human love is imperfect.  His love is “agape,” the love that makes life beautiful.  You may not perfectly understand or perfectly enter into it, but it is His perfect Love, and it is all yours now.

I Corinthians 12:12:  “For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.”  We are so one with Him that we are called Christ.  The Church is called the “Christ ones.”  He is the Vine.  You are the branch. John 15:1-8 (5th verse):  “I am the vine, ye are the branches; he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same beareth much fruit.”  As the branch is to the vine, so are you to the heart of Jesus.

You are utterly one with Him.  All this time you have been thinking about your sin, about your weakness, and your failings.  Hear Him whisper to your heart now from Romans 8:1:  “There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus.”  If you are born again, you are “in Christ.”  You are a conqueror.  You are free from condemnation.  You are the righteousness of God in Him.  You are the fullness of God in Him.  You are complete in Him.  The wealth of His glory, the wealth of His riches, have never been sounded.  You are righteous.  There is no sin-consciousness for you.  There is no inferiority complex for you.  You are now in Christ, the very righteousness of God.

You can use the Name of Jesus without fear.  You can do as Peter did in Acts 3:5,6: “And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something from them.  But Peter said, ‘Silver and gold have I none, but what I have, that give I thee.  In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.'”  You can swing free.  John 16:23,24:  “If ye shall ask anything of the Father, He will give it you in my name.”  John 15:7 is yours now: “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatsoever ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”

You are in Him.  He is in you.  His Word abides in you.  You are His Righteousness. You are His Life.  You can do His works now.  John 14:12,13:  “Greater things than these shall ye do, because I go unto the Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the son.”  You take your place.  You use the Name to heal the sick.  His death was not in vain.  His suffering was not in vain.  You stand complete in His completeness, filled with His fullness.  You are filled with His holiness.  His grace is yours.

Hebrews 4:14-16 can become a reality in you:  “Having then a great high priest who hath passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.”  The word here is not “profession” but “confession.”  Christianity is called “the great confession.”  Your confession is what you are in Christ.  All that we have said to you is a reality.  You hold fast to it.

The adversary will try to make you deny your confession.  He will try to make you confess anything rather than this.  He will try to make you confess weakness and failure and want.  But you hold fast to your confession:  “My God does supply every need of mine.”  Philippians 4:19.  You stand by that confession.  Philippians 4 :13: “I can do all things in him who strengtheneth me.”  You make the declaration that He is the strength of your life.  Say it aloud to yourself until you get accustomed to hearing it.

I Peter 2:24: “Who his own self bare our sins in his body upon the tree that we, having died unto sins, might live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.”  You died unto sins with Christ on that cross; you arose to walk in righteousness; and by His stripes you are healed.  When Jesus arose from the dead, healing belonged to you.

Hold fast to your confession in the face of every assault of the enemy. You rebuke it in the Name of Jesus.  You walk in the Way of Righteousness, which means acting and living as though the Word was spoken to you by Jesus.  That is the way of victory.  That is the way where you cast out demons and disease in the Name of Jesus.  Every disease that has afflicted a Christian could have been healed if there had been anyone who had dared to walk in righteousness for that believer, who would have dared to walk in the fullness of his privileges in Christ.  The devil could have been driven out and healing could have been his.

Hebrews 4:15,16:  “For we have not a high priest that cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but one that hath been in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.  Let us therefore draw near with boldness unto the throne of grace.”  You are invited to come now to the throne room and sit with the Master and with the Father.

You are to come boldly.  Don’t come creeping in.  Don’t come in confessing your sin. bewailing your weakness and failures.  Put on the new garment.  Dress fittingly to appear before the throne.  You are the sons and daughters of God Almighty without condemnation.  You will find mercy and grace to help in time of need.

A Mall of Faith Classic: E.W. Kenyon – What We are in Christ (2 of 3)

T.M.O.F. is excited to present part two of the classic teaching from  E.W. Kenyon.  Known for his solid teaching, firm in the word of God, Kenyon’s ministry focuses on making sure the believer understands their rights and position Christ.  Enjoy the word, and enjoy who you are in Christ.

What We are in Christ

By E.W. Kenyon

We are New Creations in Christ Jesus.  We are just finding out what this can mean to us.   II Corinthians 5:17:  “Wherefore if any man is in Christ, he is a New Creation.”  This New Creation fact gives to you all that it means to Jesus and the Father whether you know it or not.  Paul’s revelation is filled with New Creation truth.   It is God’s dream for you to enjoy the fullness of this New Creation’s privileges.  “The old things are passed away.”  Those old things of bondage, fear, doubt, want, sickness, weakness, and failure are gone.  You say, “That is not possible.”  But it is.  The New Creation is just like the Master.  He is its head.  He is the Vine, you are the branch.  As He is, so are you.  John 15:1-7: “I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman… I am the vine; ye are the branches.”

As long as you deal in doubts and fears; as long as you sit in judgment on yourself, you will never arrive.  You will never enjoy these things.  If, however, you will act on the Word — act on it as you would act on a letter from some friend, you will arrive.  When you read, “All things have become new,” start thinking of yourself as living in this new realm.  You have been reconciled to God through Jesus Christ.  You have perfect fellowship with Him now.  Oh, the wealth that belongs to you in this new relationship!  Dare to act your part.

Ephesians 2:10: “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus.”  If you are His workmanship, you are satisfactory to Him.  He is pleased with you.
We have preached condemnation and sin so long that we do not know how to preach righteousness and to tell the people what they are in Christ.  When someone does tell them, they feel that it is false teaching.  They feel that anything is false teaching that does not honor sin and lift it into the place of Christ.  You are God’s new man.  Ephesians 2:15 declares that He brought into being the new man:  “Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; that he might create in himself of the two one new man, so making peace.”  Ephesians 4:24:  “And put on the new man, that after God hath been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.”

The New Creation knows but one Lord.  Jesus is the Lord of the New Creation.  Colossians 2:6,7 gives us a graphic statement of facts:  “As therefore ye received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and builded up in him, and established in your faith, even as ye were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.”  What a glorious truth!  No longer are you a weakling.  His strength is your strength.  We are so strong that we are to abound in thanksgiving.  When we stop abounding in thanksgiving, we deteriorate spiritually.

Psalm 27:1:  “Jehovah is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? Jehovah is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

Psalm 23:1:  “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”

You swing free from the old prison house of bondage and fear and want, of hunger and cold.  You are out in the freedom of God.

Hebrews 7:25 is Jesus’ present attitude toward you:  “Wherefore also he is able to save to the uttermost them that draw near unto God through him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.”  He ever lives to make intercession for you.

He is seated at the Father’s right hand.  Say it over, “He ever lives for me.”  Just as the wife lives for the man whom she loves, so in a greater measure the Lord Jesus lives for you.  He has only one business:  that of living for you.
